Description

I painted this canvas with many coats of Winsor & Newton Acrylic Professional media. In studying the jungles of Malaysia it is amazing the number and variations of green. With that in mind I continued initially with some detail , but as I progressed, I felt, colour alone would be more attractive and appropriate for this art piece.
I am constantly inspired by the flora and jungles of Malaysia. We have a large jungle bordering our home, plants of all types and lots of animals.
Monkeys come out of the jungle every morning to watch the humans exercising on the streets.
I have read that green is man’s favourite colour, a result of early man searching for food , the eyes and brain seeing mostly green.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
