    Description

The support is quite original as I worked on tin that has been used to create a boxed canvas.
The result is very interesting because it plays with the light and also create an impression of preciosity as it stands on a wall almost as a sculpture would do.
The painting has been done on layers with a vernish finishes. When you look at it closely it is made of tones of layers like if you wre looking at the landscape from a plane window.
As you can see the movement is frozen with the paints and looks like if it wss just made.
I really love the feels that it delivers. I fould the colors also really linked to a woman that I am, reason why it is named Anima.

    Concept

My practice integrates Kandinsky's theory of colors, with this concept of inner necessity and is inspired by Soulages for its relation to abstraction. The art that I practises in SA and that "came out just like that", with colours always connected to my emotions, to the personal experience of life, I produces it by instinct and in the moment. Resins, automotive paints and other metallic paints, offer me a masterly show when it dries out, when the textures are frozen.
This delightful duel, this alchemic relationship, allows me to live her art to the fullest, in a happy union of various products (sometimes hazardous), to finally move towards purification.
Little by little, I step out of my automatic painting (after the writing of my memoir) to give way and time to analytical painting; to know what to paint, what to use, to rethink my supports. After that I reduce my list of ingredients and distances me from effect paint. My palette is deliberately diminished. Its colours are diluted with water and materialise the erasure. Chemicals only intervene as witnesses to accomplished work, through some textured traces.
