Description

I struggled to create the feeling of the body looming out. The curved surface is delicate, but I think the work is as powerful as the real car. The yellowish green color (with a strong yellow tinge) on the right edge of the body was a point that troubled me. Thanks to the presence of this color, the darker yellowish green in the center also echoes the color of the body, creating a finish with depth.

The Mille Miglia in Italy is the pinnacle of classic car racing. The vehicle painter Tomohiro Todoroki held the first solo exhibition by an Oriental artist at the Mille Miglia Museum. The POP vehicles expressed on white canvases with unique lines and vivid colors deliver a positive message to the viewer.
