Concept

As a self-taught artist I feel that I can bring a certain attitude into my art. I am currently focused on self exploration on abstract and minimalistic art. Most of my artwork is based on mother nature’s wondrous surroundings. It is usually anything I can see and feel that comes from my own personal experiences. I am obsessed with recording artistic observations, both from memory and invention.
I feel that painting is one of my platforms for self discovery and betterment. I still continue to explore other types of styles in my artistic journey, such as experimenting with mixed media because of all the different layers and never ending choice of textures. My main medium that I love to work with is acrylic but I also use other art mediums, just for a change of pace and to challenge myself. Colours and shapes have always influenced my emotions compared to making art that has objects involved.
I have poured so much love in my art pieces using colours, light, shadows and textures I absolutely adore. I’ve used my brushes, scratching tools and pallet knives to complete the effect that I want to project to my audience. I have come to my own conclusion that I take responsibility in contributing colours to the world. I love to create a light colourful, seamless geometric painting seeping happiness, senses of joy and calmness with an underlying vibrant energy.
