“You are either too happy, too sad or you just don't care. Finding feelings in the middle does not come naturally. You have to fight every day to find them.”
This painting was inspired by a person with mental health issues. Bipolar disorder is a brain disorder that causes changes in a person's mood, energy, and ability to function. People with bipolar disorder experience intense emotional states that typically occur during distinct periods of days to weeks, called mood episodes. So a dark colour, which is black, represents the darkest side of emotion, while blue represents calmness, and white represents positive energy. The material I used is stretched canvas while the medium is acrylic and modeling paste. Complimentary natural wood frame.
