The "Little Island" is a district in another district called "Morocco", a fishermen's district in Saint Gilles Croix de Vie (France) in Vendée. This tiny island was in an estuary, "Le Havre de Vie", on the river "La Vie". It was a poor neighborhood which after the reconquest of Spain by the Catholics welcomed Moors converted to Catholicism, Protestants and other minorities. Always very typical, I set up my summer workshop there: "La p'tite île", as they say here.
