Southern, an adjective meaning the South of Europe, but also, by extrapolation, what attracts the sun, at least in our eyes. In the Mediterranean, the architectures are different, even between two nearby islands, like Majorca, in stone, and Ibiza, white, for example. But the atmosphere is there, with similar vegetation. In France, this southern side goes up to the mouth of the Loire, to the islands of Yeu and Noirmoutier. No doubt by the sailors of yesteryear.
