The work is made of acrylic gouache and canvas. It is not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache.
Every time I go to see the ocean, I feel scared of the seawater that soaks up to my feet. The ocean is home to many creatures. From our perspective, it is a vast, changing, beautiful color. I feel that the duality of the ocean is similar to the fear and beauty of a diverse world and society.
As for the particulars, I go to see the ocean, touch the subject, and make sketches over and over again to determine the colors in search of the essential expression. I place importance on making the space to be decorated look generous and gorgeous by making the color surfaces appear large.
