The material of the work is acrylic gouache and canvas. It is not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache.
When I grow roses and observe them, their shape changes from the beginning of blooming. There is a moment before the flower falls that is called "hana zakari". It is a three-dimensional feeling and energy that seems to come toward us. It is more than a dense and sweet beauty. I feel the life in the power that makes me want to ask whether this is beautiful.
As for the particularity, I raise roses, touch the object, and make a lot of sketches, and decide the color in search of the essential expression. It is important for me to make the space where the roses are displayed look generous and gorgeous by showing a large color surface.
