The material of the work is acrylic gouache and canvas. It is not framed, but I painted the sides with acrylic gouache.
When I was deeply feeling "happiness", I felt that the figure of the rose looking upward was dreaming of happiness. The dark blue, almost black, represents loneliness.
Loneliness also coexists in this rose.
The beauty of a moment of happiness is projected onto the rose in this work.
I decided on the colors by growing roses, touching them, and sketching them to find the essential expression. It is important for me to make the space where the roses are displayed look generous and gorgeous by showing the large color surface.
