The material of the work is acrylic gouache and canvas. It is not framed, but the sides are painted with acrylic gouache.
When I paint roses while growing them, they grow up facing various directions, but rarely they bloom as if they are standing. When I look at them, I feel the brilliance in the beauty of the balance of light and shadow. I projected this work while thinking of such a woman's figure.
As for the particulars, I decided on the colors by cultivating roses, touching the subject, and sketching over and over in search of the essential expression. It is important for me to make the space where the work is displayed look generous and gorgeous by showing a large color surface.
