Emotion for this painting rose from a song which I really love and it creates positive memories, the song never gets old (Tash Sultana - Welcome to the jungle).
History of painting, plywood with frame I got from Denmark, on in there was a painting in pastel color. It did not fit anywhere and was looking depressing, it was laying in a corner for couple of years. So one day I thought of making a piece of my own on top of it.
That day was three years ago - summer.
Very strange thing is that during the first summer I spent only a week on it. Next summer I spent a month on it, I still was not sure what I wanted to express on it, i spent allot of time searching and thinking about it. But last summer (2020) was a blast, full of positive and summer emotions, that why it is filled with allot of bright colors.
In total during all summers combined I spent about 3-4 months on it. Spent many hours on it and gave all of myself to it, I drew only when I had a good mood.
