Ancient Egypt impresses me by diversity of personalities with special power who protect its territory.
This painting was insired by the ancient history of Egypt, namely Anubis because I was impressed by his protective pharaonic power, his mythological roles and importance in his community.
He was most often depicted as a jackal, most likely powerful a man with a canin head, surrounded by protective eyes and serpent. Anubis could protect the graves, was as lord of the underwold, as god who ushered souls into the afterlife.
It is said that Anubis protects, even today, from many less good things.
