We live in a jungle, every now and then it's good to stop and look at the vortex around us.
A PAPER WOMAN, fragile, but resistant, indeed resilient. A woman who knows how to look through and beyond the jungle that surrounds her.
My artistic research is above all a psychological investigation of being a woman, but also an investigation of myself.
As a woman I am fragile and delicate, but at the same time strong, determined, resistant.
I think that the woman is fragility that breathes strength, it is considered as a disadvantageous condition, a handicap to hide, but fragility is part of life, it is one of the supporting structures.
Fragility recalls true beauty, since it focuses on what a person is in its essence and not on how it appears. Strength and fragility are manifested in my paintings also in the use of the creative support, honeycomb cardboard: fragile but resistant, composed of multiple layers that fortify it and make it breathe and in the use of irregular and discarded pieces of salvaged material, which assembled mark the painting with scars and adorn it with pieces that symbolize our life path.
Existence.
Existence that resists.
