When I first saw Pena Palace, it felt vibrant and motivating. I came across it while discussing art with a friend. And they wanted to see this made life-size.
It was a rough time being the peak of the pandemic and all, we couldn’t go out.
I decided to make this place a memory of a journey that we longed for but couldn’t take part in.
Whenever I see it, I feel like I have been here.
This artwork is imbued with feelings of warmth and hope, and it implies how it’s not always necessary to be in a particular place to feel it.
I have paid special attention to details, like trying to control every single thing here could somehow help me control what was going on around me, make life easier you know.
Eventually, with enough effort and prayers, everything comes together, I learn that every single day.
