You walk into autumn and the deep hue of oranges and reds, hidden greens, and yellow make you feel warm. The Sun shines brighter at the center illuminating the canopy in the background and darkening the thick trees to the front. It gives you a sense of walking in mid-afternoon, probably a Sunday in Autumn. Underneath the thick of branches and leaves covering the sky, and there is a winding road ahead straight to home.
The leaves on the road sparkle in the sunlight like jewels. The wind blows them asunder, You can almost hear the forest as if alive and amidst all this, there is a feeling of peace and belonging.
I would love to visit places like these, take you with me, and since our current situation wouldn't allow that instead, I put it on canvas, something to make us feel close to Nature.
It was inspired specifically by an artwork named- Autumn Palette by a Russian artist Mr. Victor, whose way of portraying the deep of forest makes you feel as if you can step into it for real. I have a soulful connection to nature, and I tend to make places like these more often then I know. The choice of image for artworks is still a mystery to me.
In the foreground it has varied techniques hiding in its details, mostly layering, glazing, and pallet knives to hard old brushes.
It has a tight look that portrays a sense of healthy control, while the colors teach to have trust in fate.
I would love to see this art hung on a huge wall, like a portal to another beautiful word.
