When I was painting plants on a summer evening, the finished work looked like a record jacket, so I titled it [Side A].
I am proud that I was able to successfully capture the always slightly lonely feeling of an evening at the end of summer.
This is an acrylic painting. I made the base of the painting bumpy with modeling paste, so when you look at the original up close, you can see all the brushstrokes, which is cool. My style is to finish acrylic paints as if they were oil paintings, and this is a very obvious example of that.
It is a square shaped piece of art that has no relation to the top and bottom.
You can display it in any of the four directions and enjoy it☺.
