[Joon] Inside a dark and dank tunnel. Droplets of water, muddy with moisture, are falling. The walls are sticky and slimy with a strange substance, and they do not allow you to touch them. When was the last time I wandered into this place? I go back in time, but it is too far away to remember. My umbrella has somehow slipped out of my hand and is nowhere to be found. One of her high heels is missing. She had no time to brush her hair and could only walk, believing that there was a way out. And there is no other choice but to live. It is hard, painful, and she cannot breathe. Even if she shouted for help, no one could reach her. The ground was muddy and there were holes in places, inviting her to fall. The water that has accumulated there reflects the surroundings like a dull iron. There is no such thing as happiness built on human misery. The darkness of the human heart. When she found a glimmer of light, everything, everything in her soul came to life. Tears... I can't stop crying anymore. Without looking back at the tunnel she had exited, she took a step forward. 〉 The theme of this work is to move from a place where no light shines to a place where you can feel the future. The flower is clematis. I expressed it as if it was shining with light while the background was dark. It represents the beginning of activity by making the flow visually visible instead of static. The clothes are almost two-dimensional, and the rose with multiple layers of petals in the background is translucent. This strengthens the presence of the clematis. The trajectory of the clematis invites the viewer to finally look at the face. By strongly expressing the clematis in the lower left and upper right, I reduced the sense of floating in the painting.
