    Since 2013, Sugasawa has been creating artworks mainly by modifying and reinterpreting the works of various artists and art movements from the East and West. Sugawara declared himself a painter in November 2022 and began painting in oil. Sugawara paints natural landscapes surrounded by the sea and mountains, which he has seen and grown up with since his childhood, with bold brush strokes and vivid colors.
