I am fascinated by mountain rivers and waterfalls, not only by their beauty, the line of movement and stop-splashes at the break of the planes, but their inner essence and energy. What is a mountain river? Why did the Chinese depict a landscape, often mountains and waterfalls, on their icon scrolls, which they unrolled as needed and hid them back in a case? For me, a river is life, and a mountain river is a special current in the depths, hidden from idle eyes, you need to get to it, want to, make a path, climb a mountain, make efforts. To see and admire this incredible beauty, hear and feel the sound of water in the deafening silence of the surrounding mountains. This is a holy place, clean, strong, filling with live energy: running, murmuring, splashing, awakening with its coolness.
