Description

"The urban landscape, in which uneven structures come together to form a single city, is superimposed on the pattern of OSB plywood, in which wood chips are laminated.
The "cityscape" is an organic structure like a plant that continues to grow, and the building materials including OSB, which are standardized to be fast, cheap, and strong, are the driving force of urban expansion.
What emerges from this is a landscape of 'common houses' that proliferate."

Concept

"Express the story that the material tells.

In my daily life, when I am confronted with an ordinary material, the first thing I do is imagine its background. Where and how did the mass-market backpack I have now get spun and sewn to arrive at me. Even the stains and stains on the exterior walls of my house have been spun over thousands of nights. I use my imagination to draw out the nameless stories of these materials and express them in my works.

In my work, I have been presenting works regardless of the method, from photography to painting and three-dimensional works, while switching viewpoints and incorporating my own observations.

In recent years, I have been focusing on the structure and grain patterns of wood boards, attempting to superimpose the structure unique to industrial products with the contemporary landscape."

Does this art work need a frame?

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
