"Passages", abstract work made with acrylic and spray paint on linen canvas. Abstraction started in an instinctive and intuitive way, like most of my abstract paintings. The intention here was to create a destructured composition with an impression of movement and superimpositions, exploiting to the maximum the forms and effects created randomly by multiple ways of depositing the material on the support. The medium is laid down, thrown, spread, diluted or not, with a knife, a brush, a finger etc... creating contrasting associations of matter. The touch is expressionist in a range of browns, yellows and pinks, enhanced by the white and gray of payne. This painting can be read in several directions.
