‘Smile Please' is a multidisciplinary project based on community art which includes audio installations, interactive art works and engagement of audience as well as community as whole with art work. This project has been conceived to initiate curatorial activism towards awareness for trauma and abuse survivors. This project addresses the taboos and stigmas attached to social norms, surroundings, suppression, struggles, aftermath of trauma, emotional ordeal of survivors and all the connotations attached to abuse in general. Its engagement with community and adding it to the artworks, also serves the purpose of curatorial activism.
