Description

I was interested in the culture of the 1990s and early 2000s in Tokyo, Japan. The subject of this painting is the "ganglo gal" women who were often seen in Shibuya, Tokyo, which was known as "yamamba. I sometimes saw them in Shibuya at that time. I am interested in such subcultures. I studied hairstyles, makeup, skin color, etc., and drew imaginary characters.
