Description

Since, this piece was ‘making a bouquet’, it was required to exhibit ‘the making’.
Hence, the negative space played a major role for the piece to look not complete yet! However, as an artwork, the piece had to look complete and harmonious too.
Therefore, the challenge to fulfill two contracts!

Concept

I’m Aatmica. I started painting from an early age of 6. I expressed my interest in art by making greeting cards. I like to explore with techniques. For instance, I do dripping, palate knife, hand smudging, cone work, thread work, paper work, collages, cut work, appliqué work, embroidery etc. Similarly I explore with styles too ! For instance, I paint abstract, figurative, symbolism, landscapes, ancient primitive, historic, religious etc. I get my inspiration from various sources : looking around, past events, human emotions, etc.

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
