Bandhani is a fabric printing method. It is called ‘tie and dye’ in English.
Printing is generally done with bright colors and geometric designs.
This art has been prevalent in India for centuries.
This is my tribute to Indian Bandhani.

Concept

I’m Aatmica. I started painting from an early age of 6. I expressed my interest in art by making greeting cards. I like to explore with techniques. For instance, I do dripping, palate knife, hand smudging, cone work, thread work, paper work, collages, cut work, appliqué work, embroidery etc. Similarly I explore with styles too ! For instance, I paint abstract, figurative, symbolism, landscapes, ancient primitive, historic, religious etc. I get my inspiration from various sources : looking around, past events, human emotions, etc.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
