You can see a little piece of nature incorporated into this picture. For this painting, I decided to add pigments I collected outside. It is quite inspiring to me to go outdoors to search for various organic elements I can utilize when painting. Anything from beach sand to woodland dirt to seashells can be used as materials. This work of art was created on canvas using a variety of media, including acrylic paint and pigments made from sand and dirt. It is sprayed with gloss varnish spray for shine and protection. The artwork's title was inspired by the discovery of hidden treasures, such as the organic colors created by nature. Because I get many of the colors I use in my artworks from nature, the green represents nature, and the gold represents hidden treasures, such as discovering a gold treasure. I sourced the materials for this painting from a location named Bergsbygda (in Porsgrunn, Norway). It is an original painting and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
