COME UNDONE was born from doodles! I love geometric undulations and I use them in my Mountains Series paintings. I decided to take this element and play with it on its own.
Non subjective abstracts intrigue me because people can see and feel lots of different things when viewing them and I think what you see and feel depends on your personal life journey.
In creating this hard edged abstract, I was aware of how it looked (to me) like a falling apart of something. Sometimes we have to let go and allow things to 'come undone'. The falling apart or loosening of the threads (our thoughts/ideas/beliefs) we hold so tightly to can lead us to new and fresh perspectives.
This contemporary 102cm x 102cm painting features a wonderful colour palette of blues, blue greens, beige, buff, cream, grey, black, white with highlights of metallic gold, copper and bronze. The sides are finished in a very dark grey and you can hang it straight onto your wall.
Comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity and is titled, signed and year dated on the back of the canvas.
