Description

I created this work with a man depressed in front of wine and a praying mantis, a symbol of loneliness, hoping for the restoration of Shurijo Castle.
Fatigue, loneliness, and also the news of the fire at Shurijo Castle shocked me, and 2019 was a difficult year mentally.
This work is a prayer for the reconstruction of Shurijo Castle, which I call the red color of hope.

"I paint mixed media, acrylic paintings and illustrations in oil and acrylic paints.
I am self-taught in oil painting and my concepts are deformed animals (anthropomorphic), alcohol and frogs.
My contouring is influenced by Croizzonisme and cartoons.
I paint what interests me and what comes to mind, so the work will have a surreal content."
