The artwork is painted on a high-quality canvas and will be shipped rolled unmounted (not stretched). You could stretch the painting at a local framer shop.

The painting size is 130x150cm plus an additional 3cm from each side as painted edges and an additional 2 cm for stretching. The full canvas size is 147x160 cm.

Concept

Anastasia Vasilyeva is a Swiss-based professional artist whose artworks are held in private collections in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
She was born in 1982 in St.Petersburg in an artist family (4th generation). Since 2008 Anastasia lives and works in Switzerland.

Inspired by Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollack, Kandinsky, and Gerhard Richter, Anastasia Vasilyeva conceptualizes Contemporary Art.
She combines abstract expressionism with motifs and themes of Science.
This connects the emotional level, which belongs to Expressionism, with the intellectual and logical structures. All of the artist's works have several levels of meaning. They are not only visually attractive but also provide an impulse to philosophize.
