Anastasia Vasilyeva is a Swiss-based professional artist whose artworks are held in private collections in the USA, Europe, and Asia.
She was born in 1982 in St.Petersburg in an artist family (4th generation). Since 2008 Anastasia lives and works in Switzerland.

Inspired by Mark Rothko, Jackson Pollack, Kandinsky, and Gerhard Richter, Anastasia Vasilyeva conceptualizes Contemporary Art.
She combines abstract expressionism with motifs and themes of Science.
This connects the emotional level, which belongs to Expressionism, with the intellectual and logical structures. All of the artist's works have several levels of meaning. They are not only visually attractive but also provide an impulse to philosophize.
