Description

The artwork is inspired by the royal pattern with the image of Young Miss is playing “Dan Bau” with a mythical creature “Si Van” – a creature in Vietnamese religious.
Si Van – the second child of the Dragon and is often engraved on the rooftop of the ancient pagoda, temple or palace. In the past, people craved the image of Si Van on the roof with a belief that it could help to avoid fire.
Dan Bau is one string musical instrument which is a Vietnamese traditional musical instrument with an emotional and deep sound just like water.
“Ngo Dong” tree is also called the quintessence of the earth and the sky and is often grown in the royal palace. With the meaning is to find back the beauty of Nature and Vietnamese traditions to enrich the romanticism inside soul.

My name is Bam Bi (Vietnamese name, Võ Hoàng Phương Uyên), a traditional painting artist and co-founder of B/S Art Studio in Vietnam.
I established B/S Art Studio with the motto "Creativity with Vietnamese Culture and Identity." I hope that through painting, music and organizing art experience activities, I can share my knowledge and passion about the beauty of my homeland, national culture and traditional values with everyone.
I hope that one day, the Vietnamese culture will be prominently featured on the world cultural map

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
