When making this abstract landscape painting, I was driven by those atmospheres I find in early spring, when the morning is still cold and looking at the cloudy sky makes me feel so alive.
The original 47.2x39.4x0.7" (120x100x1.8cm) artwork on canvas, is made with acrylic colors, gesso, resins mixed with sands. Being richly textured, it gives the viewer both a visual and a tactile experience. It's signed on the back by the author.
PLEASE NOTE: This artwork on canvas is shipped in a TUBE and needs to be stretched for hanging. In case you wish to have the artwork already stretched and ready to hang, it has to be shipped in a crate at a higher shipping price. I love to create ethereal abstract landscapes. In my mixed media I give a tactile component to the painting, so it interacts with daylight, using acrylic colors, sand mixed to resin, metallic pigments and sometimes, stones or other coarse-grained materials.
