This is a very expressive painting with visible gestural brushstrokes in blue, black and dark green with some yellow.
Black lines are added in ink.
It is a memory of a pond with big trees around it, reflecting in the water. The artist passed this pond every day when she brought her son to school. It was such a beautiful scene. She decided to paint it, just like Monet used to paint ponds. This painting has a mysterious vibe. It doesn't show the depth underneath it's reflections nor the possible secrets.
The sides are painted. It comes with a certificate of authenticity. Signed on the back at request on the front.
