The cool cold blue of Sapphire. This is a part of third series, that infuses metallic (gold, silver, bronze, and or copper) into the fish, and speck in the background. I continue to refine my signature technique of acrylic pouring and detailing out with oil traditional paints. The dark background creates a focal point that carries the viewer more deeply into the vivid colors of the fish. My consistent theme in all my paintings remains true; to use colors to symbolize a variety of emotions, and truths, to bring about calmness that inspires tranquility.
