Everyone knows the concept "melange" which is used in different contexts but always implies mixing.
This painting is an abstract melange of different colors, especially inspired by the idea of melange fabric with its special coloring. The combination of red, pink, orange, yellow, white, black, brown colors with predominance of red gave many different shades with smooth transition from one color to another, realizing my intention to create melange effect with relief texture using multilayered color combination. The surface of the work is covered with a glossy varnish, which enhances this effect. Besides the layer of varnish protects the artwork against UV light and dust.
The sides of the canvas are part of the composition, so the painting is ready to hang without an additional frame. The hand-stretched canvas is signed on the back.
