I spent my childhood in a small town in Northern Siberia, where there was snow for nine months, so all I saw every day was white. In the summer, my parents would send me to my grandmother who lived farther south. During my first two weeks there, I was always amazed by the bright butterflies and insects. To me, they were like they were from another planet. My work Butterfly - part one of the series Exotic Dreams. This series focuses on my childhood experiences of seeing butterflies, beetles and fish.
