Once again, I created a picture inspired by a read book. It was Jack London’s "The Valley of the Moon". This book describes the historical events in the USA of the early 20th century on the example of one family. The Great Depression has not yet begun, but tension is felt in cities, skirmishes occur. Despite the urban life and the loss of the firstborn, the heroes were able to trust each other and, without a penny in their pockets, to meet their dreams. Thanks to the infinite love, they found their moon valley. And love in this novel is described such that it is breathtaking! What mutual understanding between heroes, what correct self-criticism. They are ready to please each other, the partner’s happiness comes first.
Well, tell me, didn’t you ever want to drop everything, look away, in search of your happiness, your “The Valley of the Moon”? There, where water will be beating out of the ground by itself on your land, along the border of which a clear river will flow, where trout would lead, and hares and deer would come to the watering place. And above the meadows, the larks would certainly sing!
