    Description

    Simulation work created in 2015. The artwork was created based on an image on the internet and was drawn with a spray gun using a stencil.
    This is one of Yamaguchi's precious early works presented at the “Made in Tokyo” exhibition at Gallery Speak For in Tokyo and Gallery 128 in NYC.
    Yamaguchi’s pop-art world view shows that there are various people and cultures that exist infinitely in the world and homogeneous at the same time.

    Masato Yamaguchi is strongly influenced by surrealism, pop art, and simulationism. Initially, Yamaguchi re-mixed Tokyo's borderless roots influenced by European and American culture and expressed them using a mashup technique.
    In recent years, His artwork field has been expanded to produce works from the viewpoint of integrating digital and analog, human and machine, reality and virtual images, and opposing positions. He collaborates with machines such as drones, cleaning robots, and machines to limit his expression and entrust his artistry to machines. He tries to discover his own values and existence, as well as the possibility of expressions that are created by the assimilation of machines and people.
