This work is based on the theme of Japanese-style painting, using words such as "simulation," "imitation," and "forgery" as clues. In order to express a stylized subject matter "painted from ready-made objects such as photographs and paintings," he attempts to interpret and depict each element as layers within the space of the painting.
In this work, he reproduces sliding doors using paint (heaping up gofun) as the subject of the support, and also refers to the template combination of figure, ground, and support.
