In my work, the visual information obtained from the place is replaced by simplified forms, such as geometric forms, and reconstructed on the screen. This work is a sister work to my previous work Nojima Sunset, inspired by Nojima Sunset in the eight sceneries of Kanazawa, with the motif of Hiragata Bay in Kanazawa Ward, Yokohama City and Nojima Island over there. Monet, an Impressionist, used straw stacks and the Cathedral of Rouen as motifs, and made a number of works whose impressions changed depending on the light that illuminated the motifs. Following Monet's series of works, I took a motif that I had once taken up in the past and made it by taking up the light of a different time.
