［Title] The world I dreamed of back then is still the world I've always dreamed of. A watercolor and flower art frame work commemorating ohanabako's first solo exhibition. It is a one-of-a-kind work, with a nuanced sky of morning glow painted in watercolor and decorated with a field of flowers. ［Comment] This is the first work in which the sky was painted and flowers were added after the decision was made to hold this solo exhibition [Sky and Flowers]. After the decision was made to hold the exhibition, I thought about designing the work as mixed media for the first time, gathered watercolor painting tools, carefully selected the colors and shapes of the flowers to be purchased, and used materials I had never used before. I expressed my childhood dream of playing in a park full of flowers, and the world that surrounded me, with my favorite colorful and multicolored flowers. I wondered what I liked to do back then, what dreams I had, and whether I could become the adult I had envisioned back then. If I am not the adult I envisioned back then, is there anything I can still do in the future? I created this work with the hope that it would be an opportunity for you to ask yourself such questions. You may want to look up at the sky and think about yourself like that, or you may not have to think about anything at all. In this strange age, where we seem to have more connections with others thanks to social networking services and less thanks to the coronavirus, I think it is rich to look up at the sky and just bask in your own private world. I feel as if all my worries are quickly disappearing.
