    Description

[Technique] Hand-dyed [Material] Cotton [Base] Wooden panel [Model Number] 231011 *Signed by the artist (on the back) *There are metal fittings and strings on the upper left and right sides of the back. This is a wooden panel of Bingata, a traditional Okinawan craft. It can be hung on the wall of your room or placed on a shelf to brighten up the atmosphere of your room as an accent in your daily life. The back of the panel has metal fittings and strings on the upper left and right sides, so you can display it from the day you receive it. Each piece is handmade and hand-dyed, so the design and colors may differ slightly from those shown in the photos. Simple packaging is recommended. We do not provide box packing. The color of the product in the photo may differ from the actual product due to your monitor or the lighting in your room. *Rabbit and the moon *The motif of this work is the large, gorgeous flowers and the rabbit, the zodiac sign for the year 2023. The bold, large blooming flowers and the rabbit are set off by glitter opal for the rabbit's color and glitter red for its lovely eyes. The rabbit and the friendly moon are depicted with one-pointed ears. The large flowers are dahlias, which have the words "grace, elegance, and splendor" in the language of flowers. We wish you a wonderful year 2023. 🐰🌙

  • About this artist

    Concept

My creative concept is "Niraikanai" (a world where everyone can smile). Niraikanai" is a word that has been handed down from generation to generation in Okinawa, and it represents the image of "a paradise beyond the sea, a world where everyone can smile. We are more than happy when we receive comments from people who have seen our works that they have been cheered up and brought a smile to their faces, which encourages us to continue our creative activities. The creation of Bingata requires a long process of designing, carving, gluing, coloring, shading, and watering, etc. Each piece is one-of-a-kind, so each is unique. Since each piece is one-of-a-kind, each has its own individuality, and I am always filled with a sense of fulfillment and gratitude for having created it. I will continue to work hard on my creations, hoping that everyone who sees my work will be able to enjoy their lives with a little more cheerfulness.
