This work is part of the series "Terra + Terra our own". Small series of works in which two natures merge - human and planetary.

With regard to this work, it is interesting for me to reflect with the viewer.
Maybe the plant wants to harm this man? Maybe the man was in an uncomfortable position? Maybe the man is comfortable, and the plant is also comfortable and there are no problems? Hostile or peaceful coexistence?
I will not give an answer to any question. But I asked these questions so that my viewer could dream up or think logically. You can come to your own understanding of the interactions between man and nature.

Concept

My name is Terra Neidorf. I am in the field of constantly evolving contemporary art. It is like a steep river or a mad waterfall.
Every period of my life is accompanied by thoughts and experiences on a certain topic that I rethink in art. Artwork is not only about a physical object, it is a deep thought and emotional process of an artist. The artist in turn is like a membrane that absorbs the world. Something is sifted, and something remains. And what remains is further processed into an art project.
Themes of my art projects: human nature, human body, female and male features of our bodies, parallels between the human body and the body of the planet, personal reflections, the nature of the planet Earth, environmental issues, criticism of the Anthropocene.
My portfolio includes mixed media artworks, painting, drawings, installations, performance. Here are mainly mixed media artworks. I have experience working with acrylic, textured paste, pastel, oil materials, thread, textile, canvas, burlap and other fabric bases, etc.

What kind of hardware should I use for hanging the artwork?

If you are concerned about repayment costs, such as when renting a house, wall pins and hooks that do not leave noticeable hole marks are available at major DIY Store and art supply stores.

If you want to hang a canvas with a hook, a hook type with a long hooking surface, such as a V-shaped type is recommended.

If there is a string on the back of the canvas or the back of the frame, you can hang it with a pin type that has a short hooking surface.
