The Dive Deeper series includes two works: Freediving and Into the Abyss, Untethered. I was inspired to create them after accidentally coming across an article about freediving. There is an inextricable link between deep diving, exploring the world, and becoming more self-aware.
As we plunge into the unknown, we have no way of telling what we will face, and even if we will make it back to the surface. Delving into the depths means being ready to embrace your own truth, being honest with yourself. Transformation keeps happening around us all the time, and the color of our energy keeps changing as well.
This work uses mixed media. The three-dimensional art combines acrylic paint and cold porcelain, thus illustrating the harmony between the world outside and within, experienced during a deep plunge without a safety harness.
The color scheme conveys the positive perception of the psyche: a balance between an emotional outburst, clarity, and serenity.

Image size 30 cm x 30 cm x 5.0 cm (11.8 x 11.8 x 2.0 inch, weight 1kg). The 5 cm high body is made of a pure solid pine wood frame. The resulting depth of 5.0cm enables both direct suspension and framing with shadow gap frames.
