This free-form geodesic painting was created to reproduce a cut of malachite with a modern twist. The picture is made on an MDF board, which was cut out for me according to my drawing in a carpentry workshop.
Dimensions: 78 x 75 at highest points, 2 cm thick.
This piece of art is quite heavy (weight 9 kg) so you will need special anchors for hanging.
A hole richly decorated with natural crystals and glass is carved in the middle. The edge is processed with texture paste and covered with gold paint. All fine details and veins are carefully drawn by me by hand with a thin brush. No less than three layers of epoxy were poured onto this piece of malachite.
Textured 3D elements look amazing.
The resin works look very beautiful up close and you will love looking at all the intricate details!
