1. The Antelope Barasingha (Rucervus Duvaucelii), is also called Swamp Deer. The geometric symmetry of the growth of the antlers is a symbol of peace, and, so also is its white color.
2. The Barasingha is pictured in white, color of the German Swamp Deer, a symbol of purity and peace. A deer is a symbol of gentleness, grace, agility and, speed.
3. The swamp deer differs from all other deer species in that the antlers carry more than three tines. Mature stags usually have 10 to 14 tines, and some have been known to have up to 20 !!
