Explanation "I go to bed alone to watch such a good moon. This is a haiku by Hoya Ozaki, a haiku poet active during the Meiji and Taisho periods. When he composed this haiku, Hoya Ozaki was living alone at a temple in the middle of nowhere. He is alone in the silence of his empty house, and he writes about his sense of dreariness and loneliness. The more beautiful the moon is, the more the artist feels his own loneliness. This haiku conveys the author's feelings very clearly. By using a slightly hard line quality, the author expresses the conflict in his heart. The use of more blurriness in the lines gives the work a sense of melancholy.
