I loved the band Going Steady.
I used to paint while humming the song "Night on the Galactic Railroad" by that band.
When I was in my fourth year of college, a friend of mine told me that the summer vacation of my senior year of college would be the last long summer vacation in my lifetime. I remembered that I was in my fourth year of college, and I remembered it intensely.
I wonder if everyone remembers those days.
It has been about 12 years since I graduated from college.
The friends I played with back then are now estranged.
But I remember them now.
The air, the conversations, the going steady.
When I was thinking about these things while drawing this picture, it turned out happier than I expected ☺︎.
I didn't use much water, and if you get close, you can feel the brush marks.
It is 365mm in height and 515mm in width.
