“Wounds”. Work description:
The presented wounds on the body are interpreted as mental. The artwork is a self-portrait. Mental problems in the form of neuroses, breakdowns, hysterics, depression leave their ulcerative bleeding trail. Hello, my wounds, you are now with me forever.
"I am"
All artworks from this series are my self-portraits. Images come to mind in an instant. They are a manifestation of various uncontrolled deep mental processes in my work with subsequent representation.
I believe that an artist should have a voice, talk about the topical issues, raise important critical issues of modern life through creativity. However, in addition to the conceptual, the unconscious comes to me, which I cannot always explain.
The series is inexhaustible and will continue. In this way I study myself, my identity and psyche.
Artwork “Wounds” took part in the 365daysafter project, organized by MOKONSHU.
